We had a wonderful experience with Bryan and everyone at Make Over My Yard. They quickly returned calls and answered all our questions. They were very understanding while we were dealing with HOA approval. Cindy was fantastic at communicating the administrative items. The work crew were great. The whole project was completed in 3 days, and that included a retaining wall. We will use Make Over My Yard again when we expand our landscaping design.

They showed up on time, completed the installation and revamping of a planting bed, and when they were done, the site was as clean as if they were never there. My wife and I are very happy with the outcome of the design from Make Over My Yard. From day 1 Bryan was responsive with coming out for a quote, we got our quote about 1 week later as promised. I asked to make some changes and got that quote back in a timely manner. Work began about a month later and they knocked everything out in a week. We recently had the pleasure of working with Make Over My Yard to pave our backyard patio & side walkway, install a gas fire pit and enhance our backyard landscaping. We were extremely impressed with the professionalism of their team and their ability to transform our backyard into what we had envisioned. After we initially contacted them, they were quick to arrange a time around our schedule to come out and walk our property to come up with a plan. They were very patient and helpful as we were somewhat indecisive through the process of trying to decide what type of materials to use. Once we finalized our plans, their team worked incredibly fast and efficiently to get the project done. I was personally very impressed with how respectful the workers were and how clean they left the job site each day. The quality of their work also greatly exceeded our expectations. Evan, the co-owner, also made the long drive to our South Charlotte home several times during the project to check in with us and make sure everything was progressing to our satisfaction. They really did "make over our yard" and the transformation has allowed us to enjoy our yard more in the first 6 weeks after completion than we have in the nearly 4 years we have lived in our home! We have already recommended their company to many of our family members and friends and would encourage anyone to reach out to them for their patio/landscaping needs.

I can't say enough about the dedication and passion for their projects. They do awesome work. If I had to complain (and it's not a huge complaint) is that they hire more workers. They have so much work at times it seems they spread themselves thin, but the owner is a stickler for perfection and quality of their jobs. I had some major technical issues come up with my project having to do with being in a town home and HOA issues, but that didn't stop him or his crews from making sure the "fit & finish" of my patio project met my satisfaction and more so it seemed, a project that exemplifies the "makeover my yard" project.

I found out about them through a referral, and there was high praise that followed that referral. Likewise, I see why, having gone through the experience myself. Again, when my project was done it was probably in the high demand summer months, but despite some scheduling issues and missed calls, the owner more than made up for it by "doing the right thing" because a happy and satisfied customer mattered the most.

Katie came to my house after I called and explained I had landscaping needs. We walked the beds and talked about what I wanted to get done. She made notes as we talked and then took pictures and measurements. She emailed an estimate with explanations about what work would be completed and plants that would be installed. i asked her to come back by just to be sure we were on the same page. We discussed the specific plants I liked. Later that day she sent a drawing of all beds with the layout of everything that included the plants. Katie's choice of plants were excellent. Work began the next day with old plants being removed and beds being amended and tilled. The following day stones and plants arrived and were installed and mulching began. The third day everything was completed. I found everyone at Make Over My Yard was polite and well mannered. Every request was fulfilled even as I made changes during the project. I would recommend them for any landscape needs and will use them as needed in the future.

I wanted a 12 ft x 12 ft Pergola built over my Paver patio, so I got three bids from top Angie's List providers. Brian is the owner of the Company. His bid was only slightly higher than the lowest and because he has a good reputation on Angie's List, I chose him. Brian came out the first day and explained everything in great detail to me so we would be on the same page. I asked for the ends of the top beams to have a different cut, more fancy and paid a little extra, along with spacing the 2 x 2's at 3 inches instead of 6 for more shade. Brian is very knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. He aims to please all his customers. His crew was very efficient. I now have a very good-looking, extremely well-built Pergola. I highly recommend Makeover My Yard for all your Landscaping needs.
